| How Yahoo Automatic Bidding works ? |
If you place a bid higher than the starting price when no one else has
joined the auction, the Yahoo system will place a bid just high enough
to beat the reserve price (if the seller has set one) or make you the high
bidder. The Yahoo system will continue to bid on your behalf up to your
maximum bid when the other bidders are competing against you for the item.
This means that you might win an item for less than your maximum bid, but you can also be outbid if someone else enters a higher maximum bid than yours.
If your maximum bid is beaten, you can place additional bids until the auction ends.
For example, if the starting price is 300 yen and you place a bid at 1,000yen,
you will win the item for 300 yen if no one else places a bid until the
auction ends. If someone else places a bid at 400 yen, The Yahoo system
will raise your bid to 500 yen automatically.

| Where are the Auction ID and the Seller's ID described ? |
Please refer to the figure below.

|
| How do I check the seller's past performance ? |
Yahoo! Auctions ratings let buyers and sellers rate their satisfaction with each other.
Only the winning bidder and the corresponding seller of an auction can rate one another.
Before you request us to bid for auction, please check the seller's past
performance.
And if the Bad Rating is more that 5 points, we don't recommend you to buy it !!
Please click the link that is right side of the score of seller's rating.
And then you can see the details of the seller's rating.

|
| How long can GOODY-JAPAN hold my items. |
We can hold your purchased items for 30 days since the first item arrives at our office.
|
| If I buy several items from the same seller, how the commission will be ? |
If you win several auctions from the same seller in the short term, the
commission will be charged par one item. But you can save a domestic shipping
fee and a bank transfer fee.
For example, even if you won three auctions listed same seller in the short
term, the domestic shipping cost will be charged for one shipping, and
bank transfer fee is charged for one remittance.
In the case of shopping from Japanese online shop, the commission is charged per order.
For example, if you order three items with the same place, it will be deemed one order.
|
| What moment GOODY-JAPAN will bid for the Auction. |
|
We will place a bid as soon as we have confirmed your bidding order.
But it may take some time till we confirm your bidding order.
So we cannot guarantee an execution of your bidding order if the remaining
time of the auction is less than 3 hours.
And also we cannot bid for auctions outside of our business hours.
(Our business hour is from 10:00 to 24:00 JST)
So please send us bidding orders well in advance.
|
| What is Auto Extension ? |
This option is available for sellers.
If the seller set up this option, and if someone places a bid near the end of the auction, auction system automatically extends the remaining time by 10 minutes .
It is not described on the item page even if the seller sets this option.
But almost sellers set up Auto-Extension, therefore we think the placing a bid in a last minute is not so effective method to win.
|
| What is Buy Price ? |
The buy price is the price at which a seller is willing to close their auction immediately and sell their item. If a bidder offers a bid equal to the auction's buy price, that bidder automatically wins the auction. However, the buy price doesn't have to be met in order for an auction to close with a sale.

|
| What is Bid Increment? |
Any new bid must be greater than the current high bid. The additional amount you're required to bid depends on the price of the item being auctioned. (In other words, bid increment are determined by the item's price.)
For example, if you want an item with a current price of 16,000yen, then
you must bid at least 16,500yen. (See also automatic bidding.)
The table below shows the required bid increment for Yahoo Auctions.
| Price of Item |
Increment |
| 1yen - 1,000yen |
10yen |
| 1,000yen - 5,000yen |
100yen |
| 5,000yen - 10,000yen |
250yen |
| 10,000yen - 50,000yen |
500yen |
| 50,000yen - |
1,000yen |
The bid increment can't be changed by the seller or the bidder. The bid increment will only be changed as the current high bid increases.
|
| What is Reserve Price? |
|
The Reserve Price is the lowest price the seller is willing to accept for the auction item.
When posting an auction, a seller sets a starting price. This amount is
usually low, allowing the seller to attract bidders who then drive up the price
naturally, by placing bids.
The seller can also choose to set a Reserve Price. This price is higher than the starting price. If the Reserve Price isn't
met by the close of the auction, the item won't be sold. Neither the bidder
nor the seller will be under obligation to complete the sale, and no contact
information will be exchanged.
If the auction has a Reserve Price that hasn't yet been met, this information will be listed under the bid-button
.
A seller usually specifies a Reserve Price if he/she is unsure of the real value of an item and wants to reserve the right to not sell if the market value is less than expected.
For example, a seller may set the Reserve Price on a vintage Coca-Cola bottle at 5000yen but actually start the auction
at 100yen. Any bid under 5000yen won't win the auction.
