UPS ammounced about International Collect on Delivery (ICOD) Fee for USA.
Effective June 2, 2025 UPS will introduce an International Collect on Delivery (ICOD) fee of $12 USD.
This new fee will be charged to the U.S. consignee at delivery along with any unpaid duties, taxes, and other fees for the shipment.
This change does not apply if duties and taxes are billed to a UPS account number prior to delivery.
Consignees can also avoid the ICOD fee if they pay the applicable customs charges electronically, prior to delivery, through the UPS International Pre Payment Application (IPPA).
IPPA can be accessed in two ways:
1. From shipment payment notification
Requires shipper to provide recipient’s contact information (name, email, phone)
Recipient must have already accepted opt-in terms for notifications from UPS
